Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory so you do not need a passport.

You will be traveling to the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) which is located just outside of San Juan Puerto Rico.  The airport is about a 15-25 minute ride from the hotel where OverFlow is taking place.

Most major cities have direct flights to Puerto Rico and most major airlines have daily flights that bring you here.

If possible, please arrive on June 8th. This will allow you to be rested, relaxed and ready for our retreat!

When you arrive at the airport in Puerto Rico, you will find plenty of public cabs available to bring you to the venue.  However, if you prefer to hire a private car, we will gladly recommend companies we know and trust.  Just send an email to for a list of private care companies.

June in Puerto Rico is typically very warm and humid.  Usually it’s between 85-95 degrees.  Therefore, we recommend packing light-colored, light-weight clothing (i.e. a floppy hat, sundresses, linens, shorts, comfy shoes and of course bathing suits).  During this time of year, It is not unusual to have sudden (and heavy) rain showers, so an umbrella is recommended.

We strongly recommend you bring (or purchase upon arrival) insect repellent and sunscreen!

Puerto Rico is a beautiful island with a rich history.  However, as with any metropolitan area, it is important to stay alert and be cautious! Therefore, if you choose to leave the resort to explore the city, always be safe and travel with a buddy.
